2 - My 2c (ERM 2 EUR!) (by Jakov Cordina) Some of you have asked me whether I will be doing a 365 this year.  I would love to have the energy and perseverance needed to do it, but I never start anything which I am certain I am not going to finish… I decided to number my shots for this year to keep count of all the days I missed. Another retro edit using my own lightroom presets.  I’m liking the square factor too.

Rocky, pebbly, lava seascape (by Jakov Cordina) I had two hours free from meetings and work so I decided to take a walk from my hotel. Little bit chilly, but surely needed the break. Saw the water down in the distance. As everyone who lives on an island can attest to, this has a strange attraction. Walking along the breakwater was pretty bland, but I came up on a pebbly beach with a couple of mountains in the background. It took me a while to realise that the pebbles were in fact lava stone. A beautiful sight indeed, and the blueish hues of the pebbles really did the shot. The yellow/orange of the drying plant really gave it a surreal feeling. Iceland 1 (by Jakov Cordina) With this year’s events, other than the worldwide economic disarter, Iceland was in the news for it’s Volcanic activity.  This is very apparent with the use of the volcanic rock all over the island, especially in construction. The below breakwater is made up of these rocks.  Thought I start with a panorama (25 shots) of this breakwater.  I have more and might post them here too.

I just love the smugness on the jock’s face :D  reminds me of when I got an A after barely studying at university while the rest (who studied) for over a month got B/C.  Now that felt good.  I am no jock though - more the non studying geeky type if you ask me!
