As some of you might know, since I have already expressed my reservations, this month’s flickristi group challenge - HEAT, burned me out.
Spent these last 3 weeks searching online and thinking what to submit. I am afriad that this month’s challenge will not be up to my usual standard, but I’m still glad I get to participate along many other talented photographers! Go Flickristi challenges!

3 very good mates are opening up a new Photography studio in Malta. These guys are talented, and always a source of inspiration.
Very excited to see what the shoots they will be coming up with. Went there yesterday and helped out with some of the set-up… very proud!!

[I SEE YOU]
Sal, my cousin, asked to take a shot of the Vedetta in L-Isla. I finally managed to make it through this weekend and have sent over 3 shots for his consideration.
The Vedetta as you can quite imagine is a look-out, built by the Knights of Malta into the fortifications to protect the Port.

While waiting for the lights to be lit (and it took a FRIKKIN long time) we went to the newly embellished palace square, as well as other parts of our Capitol.
I saw the bronze lions and immediately envisioned the many different things that can be communicated about Valletta. It’s our main shopping “go to” area. A place of Culture. This is for all the lovers - especially Belti90

Not one to do abstracts but the waves from the new benches in Palace Square Valletta intrigued me. I’ll dedicate this one to the Dr. who inspires us with his vision.
The Alien thingy, as so aptly described by Kurt - the new lamp-post! HDRed because it wouldn’t be me otherwise!
