I’ve said it many times to friends but it’s about time I say it here. My vision of photography is not primarily to make money but to enjoy and give to the local community. I always share the little knowledge I acquire. The Flickristi community here in Malta has helped me do just that and am proud of all theirs and my accomplishments.

HaHa good question. I would use one - just never buy one ;) by now I know that in Life one should trade up whenever you can :P

I’ve been using Nikon for a couple of years now and am VERY happy with them. Friends all use Nikon - so swapping lenses is easier - especially when my friends buy the much better lenses :D

[The Sunset Pano]

I told you about the sunset pano and some people even asked for me to post it, well it’s here, nothing special, but I still like it.. more tourist shots tomorrow.

Working hard throughout the day to get some photography unrelated/related projects. Loads to tell you guys, but the projects will be coming out slowly. The unrelated stuff, well they are personal, although I don’t exclude me posting something.

I promosed the view outside my window and here it is. I had to choose between two different panoramas. One was taken at Sunset (inexistant in the Dubai mist) and this one taken on the only clear night.

View of the city lights was my favourite, at least you can maje our the Burj on the other bank.

[Minimalism, Beaches and Birds]

Tackling Dubai a bit differently than what is usually portrayed. Yes I took the usual, tourist shots, but I also wanted to capture serene and minimalistic things, as well as details.

These two images, taken on beaches early morning are two of my favourites. Interestingly both have birds - the one to the right, the woman in bikini is actually looking at a bird near the water :D

I took one for the team while in Dubai last/this week and decided to go on the Hop on/off to give you a visual journey.

Yes it was 40 degree Celcius weather and seemed like I was in a hair dryer. I hope I get rewarded for all the sweat I lost! ;)

[The Monastery]

One of the most peaceful places I have ever been to. The Rila Monastery in Bulgaria is simply beautiful, surrounded by mountains and running water.

Took an 11 shot pano of the inside structure. Unfortunately I have some burnt highlights in the sky, but barely had enough time to edit the shot, let alone play around. Sorry.

“Founded in the 10th century, the Rila Monastery is regarded as one of Bulgaria’s most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments and it is a key tourist attraction for both Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe as a whole”
